Sure Start Children's Centres are at the heart of the Government's vision that every child and young person should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.  Sure Start is at the forefront of transforming the way services are delivered for young children and their families.

The aim of Sure Start Western Tynedale Children's Centre is to improve outcomes for all children whatever their background or their circumstances, to have the support they need to:

The staff team work closely together to provide families with a safe and friendly environment and they are dedicated to ensuring that children in the community get the best start in life.  The Children's Centre is open 5 days per week, Monday to Friday and the best time to drop in is between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
